“The climbers are currently back in C3 at 7,100 m. They’ll proceed further down to BC tomorrow.” Peter Atanasov (Bulgaria) told ExplorersWeb later today (mounteverest.net).

As I understand, the whole joint climbing team has decided to rest at C3. It has been a long day.

Avalanche risk for descent, it’s snowing

The weather tomorrow should be “alright” descent to BC. They’ll have the 1000m exposed Japanese Couloir to descent tomorrow, but the winds are max 37 km/h.
