It was a sunday outdoor event. While looking up the mountains around us, without saying, it was obvious that we wanted to see something new. It was 13€ for an adult round trip up the 800 alt. meter Summit of Calamorro Mountain. The lower cable station is only a few hundred meter walking distance from the Benalmadena railway station. Tickets are sold at the Cable car station, which is open 11 – 18 o’clock. From the top of Calamorro you can enjoy fantastic views over the Costa del Sol from Gibraltar to Sierra Nevada mountain range. You can also opt to walk down to the Benalmadena Costa or you can take your mountain bike in to the tereferico and cruise the sucker down.
The Birds of Prey Show, Calamorro Mountain
The prey birds show was on at 1 o’clock. The Golden Eagle & company of prey birds put up a fantastic and almost surrealistic experience by landing in, also on the people and cruising full blast past the crowd. There are a number of different birds of prey included in the event. For a citizen as I who have never seen a live Eagle or such as Golden Eagle, the show was “nice” surprise bonus on the mountain.
Kaisu & Sini also seemed to enjoy the trip and the awesome view.
